Vanilla Milkshake
It’s been a very hot summer this year and all we do is eat or crave cold things like raspados, a delicious lemonade and even a juicy Colombian fruit cocktail. And because my whole family loves ice cream, especially my husband, I also like making things that can be served with it like a Colombian fruit salad or a delicious milkshake.
After the last time I made this really basic, yet delicious vanilla milkshake I thought, why not share it on the blog since it’s so good and extremely easy to make?
So, here it is. I had not posted it before because like I said, it’s sooooooooooooo easy to make that even a young kid would get a kick out of making something that comes out tasting so incredibly good.
¡Buen provecho!
Vanilla Milkshake
Ingredients
- 2 cups 16 oz vanilla ice cream
- ½-1 cup 4-8 oz or 120-240 ml whole milk
- Sugar to taste (I use between ½-1 tbsp depending on the sweetness of the ice cream)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender and serve. If you want it to have a thinner consistency, add more milk. If you want it thicker, you can add more ice cream.
