  • ¼ cup (4 tbsp) all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 23 tbsp white sugar
  • A tiny pinch salt
  • 5 tbsp milk (I use whole)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • A tiny splash vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Nutella, peanut butter, chocolate spread or Chocoramo spread (optional)


  1. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large mug (14-16 oz).
  2. Pour in the milk, oil and vanilla extract if using and stir well. Now you can place the tbsp of Nutella, peanut butter, chocolate spread or Chocoramo spread on top of the batter.
  3. Microwave for on high for 1½ minute. All microwaves are different so cooking times may vary. Let it cool for about a minute before serving and enjoy.
