- ½ cup (25 g) cilantro, finely chopped
- 2 medium seedless tomatoes, finely chopped
- ½ cup (90 g) red bell pepper, finely chopped, optional (about ½ medium bell pepper)
- 1–2 green onions, finely chopped (I only use the stalks)
- 1–2 hot peppers (use any hot pepper that you like, ex.: Habanero, jalapeño), finely chopped
- 1–2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1–2 tbsp lime or lemon juice
- ½ cup (120 ml) water
- ¼ cup (60 ml) white vinegar
- 1 tsp white granulated sugar
- Salt to taste (about ½-1 tsp)
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Keep the mixture in an airtight container or bottle, this way it can last about a week in the refrigerator.
