Ingredients
Scale
- 4 hot dogs
- 4 soft hoagie rolls or large hot dog buns
- 1 cup (150 g) cole slaw (or to taste)
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella (or to taste)
- 1 cup (125 g) crushed potato chips (or to taste)
Sauces
- Fast Food Sauces (garlic mayo, pink sauce, pineapple sauce or pineapple preserves)
- Ketchup
- Mustard (optional)
- Mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the hot dogs in boiling water for about 5 minutes or according to package instructions and drain. You can also grill them if you prefer.
- During the last minute of boiling place a steaming basket over the pot, put the hoagies inside the basket and cover to soften them.
- To assemble place one hot dog in each bun and add a couple of tablespoons of cole slaw, mozzarella cheese, potato chips and preferred sauces. You can also add bacon, quail eggs and/or any other sauces you prefer.
