Basic Vinaigrette:
- 3 parts olive oil
- 1 part acid (lemon juice or vinegar)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Ranch Dressing:
- ½ cup buttermilk or substitute
- ¾ cup (250 g) non fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp dry parsley
- 1/8 tsp dill
- 1 tbsp chives
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Berry Dressing:
- 1 cup (125 g) berries (raspberries, strawberries)
- ½ cup (120 ml) balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup (60 ml) olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- Salt to taste
Instructions
To make the basic vinaigrette:
- Mix the olive oil, lemon juice or vinegar and salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl or glass and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Vinaigrette may last up to 2 weeks.
To make the ranch dressing:
- Mix the buttermilk, yogurt, parsley, dill, chives, onion powder, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl or glass and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Dressing may last up to 2 weeks.
To make the berry dressing:
- Blend the berries, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey and salt to taste in a blender and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Dressing may last up to 2 weeks.
