Cook it in the air fryer at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes or until crispy.
Drain the cooked bacon on a plate lined with paper towels and allow it to cool.
Butter both sides of the slices of bread and toast them in a griddle or pan over medium-high heat until golden brown.
Spread 1 Tbsp of mayonnaise over each slice of toasted bread. Layer one of the slices of bread with 1-2 leaves of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, and season with salt and pepper to taste, depending on the saltiness of the bacon. Place 4 slices of crispy bacon on top of the tomato, and top it with the second slice of toasted bread. Serve immediately.
Notes
*This recipe calls for regular-cut bacon to make a crispy BLT sandwich. You can also use thick-cut bacon, but keep in mind that it will take longer to cook.
Use large heirloom or beefsteak tomatoes, which are thick and hearty. You can also use tomatoes on the vine, which are smaller, juicier, and sweeter.
