Vegetable Stir Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cups 700 g broccoli florets
  • 4 cups 400 g green cabbage, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger (You can also use fresh ginger to taste)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder (You can also use 1 clove of fresh garlic finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup 59 ml plus 2 tbsp water or chicken broth (Optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil in a large wok or pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the broccoli and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
  • Now add the green cabbage and stir fry for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add in the soy sauce, ginger, and garlic, and then stir to mix well.
  • Add the water or chicken broth, if using. Cover the pan and steam for about 3-4 minutes or until the broccoli turns bright green. The vegetables should be firm and not soggy. Serve immediately.
