Ingredients Used For Making An Easy Air Fryer Broccoli

  • Broccoli. We’ll be using broccoli florets to make this recipe. Chop up one or two broccoli heads into florets or use prepackaged broccoli to make things easier.
  • Oil. Olive oil is my go-to for making any roasted vegetable recipe and it works great when used in the air fryer.
  • Seasonings. Use your favorite seasonings or herbs! Your roasted broccoli will come out amazing with only a sprinkle of onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

How to Roast Broccoli In The Air Fryer

You will love how easy it is to make this recipe!

  1. In a big bowl toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, and sprinkle with your favorite seasonings. My go-to seasonings whenever I make any roasted vegetables are always, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the seasoned broccoli in the air fryer basket and air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Make sure not to overcrowd it so the broccoli can come out nice and crunchy.

Tips For Making Delicious Roasted Broccoli In The Air Fryer

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Leave some space between the broccoli florets so they come out nicely roasted.
  • Place 1-2 tablespoons of water at the bottom of the air fryer. This will prevent burning or smoking.
  • Use frozen broccoli to make things easier! Season per the recipe instructions and air fry it for another 4-5 minutes or until crispy.
  • Squeeze with some lemon juice before serving.
  • Toss it with lots of grated parmesan cheese. It’s delicious!

How To Store Leftover Air Fryer Broccoli

Refrigerate leftover air fryer broccoli in an air-tight container for up to 4-5 days.

Store it in the freezer in an air-tight container for up to 3 months. To reheat it, place it back in the air fryer at 350°F (180°) for 3-5 minutes or until warm.

Description

  • 34 cups (11 ½ lbs) broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add 1-2 tablespoons of water to the bottom of the air fryer. This will add moisture to the air fryer and prevent any smoking.
  2. Toss the broccoli florets in a big bowl with the olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the seasoned broccoli in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd it. Air fry it at 375°F-380°F (190°C-193°C) for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Carefully remove the basket from the air fryer and immediately serve the broccoli. You can drizzle it with a small amount of lemon juice or toss it with grated parmesan cheese.
